How would you describe a perfect job for yourself?
Work-life balance, company culture, great pay, employee benefits, great expectations, goal-oriented leadership, and the list goes on…In fact, there are endless things that you’d want to check off the list.
At Balbix we’re pretty candid about everything, we take care of ourselves, family, work, career, and try to be great colleagues to our fellow employees. In being candid, we discover a lot of things about each other such as what makes us tick. We almost never feel burnt out (that’s because of flexi-time off). At times we are so engrossed in our work that we lose track of time.

Suraj: What has your experience been with Balbix’s company culture?
Paul: The people I am working with here are very passionate about what they do and are extremely motivated to succeed. Feedback about our corporate culture is welcomed, and people are encouraged to offer their ideas and insight. This helps strengthen communication across the entire organization.
Suraj: What are some things you’ve noticed about our leadership team?
Paul: In order to solve the most difficult challenges, the team values both working together and encourages innovation from everyone. It is rare for the leadership team to not be on the same page.
Suraj: What parts of our mission do you connect with?
Paul: There are a lot of qualities that Balbix looks for and expects in their employees, but there is one that resonates with me above all of them: ownership. This quality is so important because it does not allow one to make excuses when confronted with unexpected situations. Ownership to me is doing everything that we can to turn any situation into a desirable outcome.
Suraj: What have been your biggest accomplishments on our team?
Paul: Hopefully my biggest accomplishments are ahead of me. I don’t think it is really time for me to start listing what I have done as I still have a lot to learn. If I had to mention a top achievement, it would be gaining trust and respect from the teams here due to my work ethic and responsiveness.
Suraj: Who are some of your biggest inspirations within the company?
Paul: Mentioning a few team members would take away from the teamwork focus of Balbix. More than anything, we have a fantastic team that works well together, which is both an important value and value-add here.
Suraj: What’s the most unique part about working here?
Paul: Despite the product being so impressive, there is a relentless goal to improve and expand the product’s capabilities. If any suggestion can potentially enhance the Balbix customer experience, our teams will consider it.
